Vibe Guard helps people building with AI see their token usage and how close they are to their plan limit. This policy explains, in plain language, what the Vibe Guard apps (iPhone, Mac, and browser extension) do and do not do with your data. It is provided by BTS Innovations LLC.
To show your usage, Vibe Guard reads token counts from one or more of: your provider's official usage API (Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI/Grok) using a key you enter; the local session logs of your AI coding tools on a computer you pair (Claude Code, Codex, and similar); and, for the browser extension, the content of pages you visit so it can flag risky actions, loops, and prompt-injection. This reading is used to calculate your totals and limit percentage.
Any provider API key you enter is stored only on your device, in the iOS Keychain. Keys are used solely to call that provider's usage endpoint directly from your device. We never receive, see, or store your keys.
If you pair a computer, the meter on that computer sends only summary numbers — token totals, estimated cost, and plan-limit percentages — tagged with a random pair code you choose, to our backend so your phone can display them. This contains no prompts, no code, and no personal identifiers. Anyone without your pair code cannot read it.
If you subscribe to Vibe Guard Pro on iPhone, payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Vibe Guard never sees or stores your card number or Apple Account details. Your subscription and trial status are managed by Apple; we only see whether your subscription is active.
If you turn on limit alerts, notifications are generated and delivered locally by your device. We do not run a server that watches your usage to push alerts.
We do not sell or share your data. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or creditworthiness/lending decisions. We do not track you across apps or websites. We do not store your prompts or code.
Remove the app (and the meter, if installed) to delete on-device data. To clear paired summary numbers from the backend, change or stop using your pair code; rows are keyed only to that code. Email us to request deletion of any paired data.
